COMEX S.A. introduced the NGS series of power supplies. All 3-phase models with power ratings of 10, 15, 20 and 40kVA have an output power factor of 1. This means that the UPS can be load with an active power equal to the apparent power (kVA = kW). PF = 1 means 11% more active power compared to existing 0.9 solutions and up to 25% more power for units with a factor of 0.8.

At the beginning of 2017, 1-phase CORE 6K and 10K models appeared, which also have the highest possible output power factor PF = 1.

Works on the introduction of new models of power supplies with a PF=1 are constantly being introduced.
