COMEX S.A. - joint-stock company (formerly COMEX Joint Venture Ltd.) has been established in 1987 and since then has been specialising in protection of computer, electric and electronic equipment against voltage decay, supply instability and failure.

Becoming from company being unit of socialized economy through private company (shares were bought by private people) after increase of invested capital and widening of shareholders group by foreign legal persons COMEX became a joint venture company. Organizational changes were accompanied by looking for good partners - producers of equipment with good parameters and possible to accept on the Polish market.

Present Polish market consist of 40 mln people. It has useful economic localization in Central Europe - border with Germany, Tchech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Bielorus, Lithuania and Russia. Since start COMEX has been co-operating with well known UPS producers such as: Powerware (formerly known as EXIDE ELECTRONICS Inc.), Liebert Corporation, Best Power Technology, Silcon. For more than 10 years we have been importing UPSes from Taiwan and Singapore. COMEX is also authorised distributor and technical service support of IVECO aifo, the one of the largest generating sets manufacturer. COMEX has got a wide net of dealers and VARs spread throughout Poland. Between our satisfied customers there are biggest polish banks, industry, army, navy, universities, hospitals, state administration units, gas stations, radio and TV, etc. Up till 1997 COMEX recorded sales of 40.000 UPS units of various power output. COMEX services 3 from 9 the biggest Polish banks on the field of power protection of Data Processing Systems together with central monitoring and management.
